Why I pledged: I had a deal with Charlie Graham that if he got me in
My going over night: Seton Hall I would pledge. Also I wanted to make a
Funniest Moment: difference in our community.
Chapter Achievement: The joy that I felt when we knew we crossed the
burning sands!
Biggest Challenge: One day we performed in a talent show and our dean
Impact on Campus: let us wear dress clothes to fit the part and afterwards
at lunch, they made us act as butlers at lunch because
we were dressed.
We had a number of achievements
1. We had a number of very financial successful years
throwing the best parties
2. We used our sway to ensure that our communiity
got our fair share of resources (concerts, events, etc.)
3. Elections – We held several offices, Chief Justice
IFC, VP RSA, President BSU, District and National
Offices.
In my freshmen year all of the upper classmen brothers
were graduating and my line brother Ray and neophyte
Doug Hollis with the support of Bibby, rebuilt the
chapter in our sophmore year.
1. Any social issues affecting our community were
dealt with the sophistication of Brother Charlie Graham.
2. We worked with the BSU to elect the first Black
Home Coming team.
3. Brian Williams was BSU, President. Darrell Gunter
was captain of the Fencing Team, Board Member Pub
Control Board, Vice President RSA, Ray Harrison was a
