Bruh Whitaker... aka Party Marty... OWT Que he was!
Jonathan Griffin KH 96
The thing I remember most about Brother Martin Whitaker is his love for
marching with the Frat. He had a saying, "If you can dance, you can march",
and he could do both well. In fact, we called him "Party Hearty Marty"
because of his dance skills and he could march well also. His marching skills
were so good, in the early 80's he was one of the premier showcase brothers
of the legendary "Philly All-Stars". He may have been small in stature, but he
was big at heart with enthusiasm for Omega Psi Phi!!!!!!!!

It was indeed a pleasure to have been one of the brothers that recruited
Martin to pledge Omega. During his pledge period Martin demonstrated his
desire to be a great Omega man! He was always on point with his education,
his history and most all of his stepping!! After Martin crossed the burning
sands he continued to grow as an student and brother. It was such a pleasure
to watch Martin transform from a lampados to an Omega man. He truly
demonstrated our four cardinal principles and he is truly missed.
Darrell Gunter KH 77
My thoughts of Martin Whitaker take me back to Great thoughts and great
times. He was always the life of the party and I miss his sprit. We always rolled
together everywhere mostly because he didn't drive to later in life but it was
great to have him as a Road Dog! He was to me the brother I never had and I
miss him everyday! To me he wil always be Party Hardy Marty ,.. the life of the
Party !!! Thank you Martin ,.. For all the years ! My little brother from another
Mother!

He was instrumental in establishing and continuing a legacy of the four
cardinal principles.
