                      Line Name: The Tenacious Two
Dean: Wayne Adams (Spring 84 KH)
                      School: 1984-1989

Why I pledged: When I started thinking of pledging I checked out all
My going over night: the organizations. I wasnt impressed with what I saw.

Funniest Moment: After a chance encounter with Ashley Turnbull (Spring
Chapter Achievement: 80 KH) and Leslie HInton (Fall 79) I was impressed. I
also hated the fact that most of my peers begged me
not to pledge Omega because they didnt think I could
do it. They urged me to pledge Alpha or Kappa. I had
                      to prove them wrong.
It was on a Sunday at 7:46PM. In Montclair, New
Jersey at the home of my ADP Bruce Evans's Girlfriend
(now wife) home. Leroy Wilson (spring 80 Eta Pi)
presided. KH founders Joe Rouse, Donald Rucker and
Curtis Caldwell were on hand, as well as My Dean, and
my Neophyte Comandant Charles Jackson III. I

remember after the ceremony was over, the bruhs
sung our Hymn "Omega Dear". I remember looking at
the bruhs singing the hymn, and thinking to myself "I
don't know this song....how am I gonna learn it? These
bruhs seem to know every siongle word of it......wow..I
                      cna't believe that I made....I'm a Que.....I'm a
                      Que.....this can't be real."
A particular conversation that I had on the phone with
the then Cooridor Representative Joseph Rouse (KH
founder). If you would like to know what we talked
                      about....please see me,
Although we didn’t win any awards during my time at
SHU. We were able to establish a healthy relationship
with Delta Sigma Theta’s Delta Zeta Chapter. We were
active in the community, in particular with ongoing
projects in the Valesburg Community in Newark. We
were also very active in Seton Hall’s Student
Government, as well as the Interfraternal Council. I
also served as President of the Black Student Union. I
