A letter from Bro. D'Vell Garrison, 10-00-PsiAA
Son of Bro. George Garrison
My Dear Brothers in Omega,
I greet you in Friendship which is Truly Essential to the Soul. I apologize for the
delay in getting back to you all as I have been overseas and just returning. I will
not be able to make the event, but our family thanks you for the invitation and
we do want to donate a piece in my Dad's memory.
I do want to share with you all that my Dad was a strong, proud Omega man,
carrying out the spirit of our Fraternity in life and also as he entered death. We
were by is bedside during his last moments, and before entering Omega
Chapter, he looked at each one of us and said "I'm passing". He then closed his
eyes and prepared to meet the Supreme Basileus. I mention this because in
everything we do, Manhood leads us, after all, it is our eternal shrine!! Even
with death knocking at his door, he entered it with Manhood, Faith & Courage!
My Brothers, be encouraged in all you do and as you celebrate 40 KH years,
continue to let your lights burn bright for Omega, with Faith in God and Heart
and Mind. This I am sure would be words too that my Dad would want to tell
you.
OK my Brothers -- food for thought. Have a wonderful 40th, and please let the
Brotherhood know that we appreciate you and my Dad loved him some Q Psi Phi
-- truly until the day he died!!!
FIETTS,
Bro. D'Vell Garrison, 10-00-PsiAA
